listened to the broadcast at work and they had a stat that Watson gets out 29% of the time LBW and only converts 50s into 100s - 9% of the time

but I actually had the same thought, is there any stat out there about the most successful reviewers and most unsuccessful reviewers

A great 4 days of Test cricket so far. I thought 4 down at stumps would see us in a strong position, but to lose 3 wickets in the space of 15 minutes and have all our batsman in the shed with 150 runs still to go was disappointing. Haddin will need to bat through to at least within 20 runs for us to have a chance. He is definitely capable. It is a strong tail and if each of them can chip in with 10 or 15 runs and occupy some time at the crease we are a chance.

Cowan an out for next Test and Khawaja in IMO. The top 6 is still not working.

Watson
Rogers
Hughes
Khawaja
Clarke
Smith
Haddin

lets hope Haddin doesn't get out going the slog as he did previously in 2005 when the match was there to be won!

Also, if Australia get a dodgy decision which they can't overturn tonight there is no excuse. Watson was plumb and Clarke clearly hit it. Two selfish acts by two leaders of the team.

2 terrible dismisals this test

Agreed and will happen. With Uzi in the wings if anyone else **** up. Probably Smith, Rogers and Haddin are safe at this stage unless BH does something real dumb and then Wade or even Roger Wooley comes in

Warner is still going over to play with Aust A. Khawaja will play in the second test. Cowan isn't a 3

Micheal Clarke wouldn't have reviewed if he clearly hit it. It was a feather and he didn't think he hit It

Thought Clarke's dismisal was far more obvious than Watsons.

If a batsman knows he hit it he won't call for a review. No point.
Clearly he hadnt realized he hit it.

I'm going to put my neck out here. With only 137 runs left to chase, I reckon we will win as long as Agar remains at the crease. The way he undid us with his batting for WA earlier this year was unbelievable. I'm thinking give him a reasonable target and he'll chase it down.

I think we'll be fortunate to still be batting by lunch. Hope I'm wrong as nothing would send the English press into a tailspin more than us taking a 1-0 lead in an Ashes we were supposed to get flogged in but I've just got no faith in us anymore.

Went to bed last night at 2am, 3 down cruising to victory get up today and we lost 3 wickets in that last half hour of play.

Need to score as soon as the second new ball is taken. The boys just need to get themselves in before then.

If Khawaja doesn't play the second test ahead of Cowan, I'll be furious.

Spot on. They have all day to score the runs, they'd best just chip away and not do anything rash.
