We say that a development path resulting in limited options at SANFL level and no benefit to the AFL team is flawed.
Beeny says "but the juniors will have access to AFL level facilities".
We say "then the AFL-linked junior teams will have an advantage over normal SANFL teams"
Beeny says "but those teams are about development and shouldn't be fair"
And that, Beeny old son, is why we don't want development teams (i.e. reserves) in the SANFL league competition.
You painted yourself into a corner there fella. Don't feel too bad; I'll let you tell me it says more about me than the PAFC...

When have Port ever shown integrity
Always has been whats to ports benefit and eff the rest
port pushing for their model is about what benefits port and bugger the rest
No matter how you spin it Its still about what is in ports interest and if the SANFL gets done over so be it
Obviously the Crows are pushing for the model that best suits them. Perhaps you'd like to explain the advantages of simply using a rotation of "top up" players and the implications for the competition.

We're not, we don't like any of the propsal
Don't worry Beeny, Port aren't any more special than the Crows in respect to this debate. In fact. if anything. like all things in terms of football in this state, compared to the Crows you're probably less special....

He's so wrapped up in everyone being anti-Port, he continues to ignore that the majority of those whom he is debating with don't want AFL reserves teams in the SANFL. Just does not get it.

beenreal wrote: I get it plenty. I also get that in 2014 the reality is that there will be Reserves teams in the SANFL, because the Crows always get what they want.
So many of you wanting to cover your eyes and ears, screaming, "NO, NO, NO" will not make it go away.
The only debate by the SANFL Directors isn't if it happens, it is what model it will be.
Anyone caring to accept that reality is welcome to post their views on the advantages on the Crows model being implemented.
