I understand the Umpire intends attending the hearing to read a Victim Impact statement

I wonder if the truth will come out as one player will not get any favours from any umpire after this.

There a not any individual club ovals as such.
These days Central Augusta's clubrooms are based at ETSA Oval and West Augusta clubrooms are across the road from Chinnery. South Augusta do no have an individual club oval. Clubs shared the three (Central Oval) for trainings. As teams play Saturday and Sunday they can rotate training nights. (Monday / Wednesday / Friday) for a Sunday game and Tuesday / Thursday for a Saturday game. (This was a bit more difficult when there were four teams in Port Augusta - but since Willsden was disbanded I imagine it is easier.) This was the case when I worked in Port Augusta 1979-85 - I am pretty sure things are the same now.
Juniors train at local school grounds or Braddock Park (attached to Central Oval).

yeah i know. the set up works well there, i lived there 2010/11 and it just always baffled me that 2 ovals were being wasted and a sunday game was being played. you could eliminate the sunday game all together. plus i reckon it would be great to watch centrals play at etsa. good place to watch footy i reckon.

Real good game from the Catters yesterdy. Margatitch out makes a difference but not that much huh? Horner is quality. Like watching his play. Saras was awsome for us too. Good to see Brodie Mudge in the Solly hoops.

They were impressive, and were allowed to be by the opponents. I would pencil them in for top 2 for the year just based on the fact that they seem hungry to get back and have another tilt at the GF. and are a fit running team.

on Souths side Margatich is massive loss, you go from winning the ball cleanly from a stopage to 50/50 chance without him also had Schmidt and Trewartha on the pine from half time onwards. but atm they are struggling and with an injury list as it stands they wont be getting respite anytime soon

Margatich
Schmidt
Heron
Trewartha
Rivers
Grantham
Cox
Payne
Shirley

thats a fair list of inclusions to come in at some point. But they are not playing well to coincide with this list either

Cant comment if you haven't seen him play so far in 2013, Based on what i saw last year he was no more than your average player. Not what id call hard at the ball though, more focused on trying to take blokes out. Was beaten most times i watched him play in 2012 which was Roughly 8 to 10 games.

Haha cheers Aussie made, only made that last comment to get a response. Seen him as a youngster when he won an under 18's best and fairest at happy valley. Just wondering how he was going up there. I do hear the boys at sollies really rate him.

No crisis meetings, this isn't 2011 anymore ;)

We do need to change things however, & regardless of what Boof has tried and will try in the future, the problem lies with us players. A more consistent effort for longer will see us be competitive. Sollies & Lions wanted it more than us & we obviously thought we were better than what we were, 6 goal up vs Port. Can make numerous excuses why we are 0-3, but there are none.
Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.

 Maybe 7dog the buck stops with players like yourself.Interesting the demands you made on players when you were coach(ie discipline, afl style game plans),but it seems your not willing to PUT in yourself.Hardly spotted at a training session since you lost the coaching gig,to gain your team mates respect if your going to talk the talk walk the walk and get out to training and lead the guys out of your teams current situation.

Don't need to train in the SGL to get a game, in fact some clubs often ignore player that train and play others that don't. All i can say is that the coaches and the clubs need to take responsibility and not play these players. I Don't know if 7 Dog trains or not and what his circumstances are so cant comment. All i can say is that If the Coach and Club don't have rules and consequences they need to take a look at themselves first before pointing at any individual players. Culture of a club will determine what players get away with.
