the border times doesnt even have any reporters either. last weeks edition was 3 pages. they had better lift their game cos its not acceptable to pay $1.10 for a paper with jack in it. the junk mail in the middle had more content in it. not good. if it wasnt for the sport it would be worse.

It's a darn site better than it was five years ago.
It's a paper i'd love to be the editor of, because I believe that there's so much that can be achieved with it.
As for advertising - if there's no advertising, there's no paper. At least the Mallee is now getting more than four pages of content, unlike before when it was a four page black and white piece (no offence to the previous owners).
Also - a newspaper only reflects the support of its community. So is the community not supporting it if it's not good enough and why not?

not sure dw. i can sent you last weeks edition if you like. its not value for money in my opinion. you pay $1.10 you need more than that. in fact i just went and retrieved it out of the recycle bin and it was only 2 pages. some one is too blame.
