Somebody Up There Likes Me

Forget Rocky Graziano v Tony Zale.

The fight I wanted to see was Paul Newman v Steve McQueen...

The Hobbit. Just scrapes into this thread. Very long, not as good as the trilogy, but still has a few good moments. Went in not knowing anything about it and had to ask the missus "is this a 2 parter?" with 1/2 hour to go.

Correct. I really enjoyed the Hobbit, it was a pretty good adaptation of the novel I thought. Love Bilbo's and Gollum's riddle game.

Freelancers not a bad film. Quite watchable. The right amount of twists you expect from a movie like this. Forest Whitaker plays a good bad guy.

Jack Reacher - Good mix of Violence, drama and a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure. The bathroom scene where the 2 thugs tried to beat Jack to a pulp was straight out of a 3 stooges episode.

It Might Get Loud (2008)
Unless you have no interest or can't stand the music of any or all of these guitarists, this is a worthwhile watch for the jams alone.

Loved the bit with Jimmy Page playing air guitar to an early inspiration.

Not sure if I've mentioned this one before, but No Strings Attached has some pretty funny moments for a Rom-Com .. Natalie Portman and Lake Bell are always easy to watch and Kevin Kline still makes me laugh.
