Lookout people the Chic's are back and don't intend being in Div 2 too long . All the way from Div 4 to Div 1 in consecutive years (?) Has it ever been done?

Pretty sure Woody South did it from Div 5 to Div 1 and then straight back down again...Kilburn were awesome this year but before you get ahead of yourself be warned the jump from Div 3 to Div 2 is a very big one

I think especially this year. Div 3 was a weaker comp compared to last year. Smosh would of got smashed by portland and flinders park if they where in div 3.

Def agree with div 3 being weaker this year. Flinders & Port were at least a 5 goal better side than Kilburn this year.

and now i have reported that they have paid the sign on bonus for the now former 2 reserve glenelg players.....shrek i know your a lawyer so spinning shit is what you do all day......i must know someone higher then you at kilburn to know what is going on....ill ask you this did one of your big sponsors pull out during the year and the money they had pledged was already spent so when they bailed this made $$$$$ problem bigger then the lies started

Flinders beat SMOSH twice in 2011 right enough..... 19 & 13 pts respectively...but hardly what you would rate as being smashed whereas Portland actually lost the opener to SMOSH in 2011. To say any team would have been smashed in 2012 by Portland or Flinders in pure supposition and stupid. It would assume that both those sides are the only teams that improved while others had gone backwards and even it is hardly a barometer to winning and losing. Div 3 to Div 2 is generally considered a rise in class but what's not say to say this years Div 2 was weaker than 2011. Look where Gepps Cross is now.

Just spoke to my taxi driver in melb, asst coach/B grade of kilburn GG is rumoured to be off to a div ?? club to take up a role as asst coach/B grade coach there. desination unknown, money could be a factor.

Money is a real issue at Kilburn, no one paid since June I hear. Changing the club song to "When will we all be paid" by the Three Degrees is a real option.

Kilburn haven't set a precedent by "buying" a premiership if that indeed was the case. It could become problematic for Kilburn if the "play for pay" players are not compensated, because future prospective "guns for hire" would have to question their integrity.... whilst those affected will in all probability...... simply look elsewhere. Check the SAAFL Clearances when they are posted for 2013. If the Chic's list stays intact it would suggest that they were either...... paid, or ......it might be a case of "Shrekie love" that has kept them signed on for another season.........

I'm all paid up. Emptied the football managers wallet of silver coins but was paid all my $5 plus got a pie and can o coke.
