Agreed - I got a refund of $7600 odd - all courtesy of franked dividends and taxation concessions for us Seniors.
Being a Senior has some advantages - the concessions mean I haven't paid any tax for 3 years - and all legitimately..

Yep true. I'll be getting about 4K back, most of which is due to me having HECS repayments docked from my pay all year when I didn't have to (paid it off at end of 10/11).

My second marriage in 1984 cost very little via Births, Deaths and Marriages.
IIRC they were then in the old Bank of Adelaide building in KW Street.
The reception (for a few friends only) was in the back yard of my then office premises in Melbourne St, near the Lion.
Marriage at 2pm, reception the rest of a Friday afternoon then on to the Lion.
