CRAB: 232 points + Mitchell + Hawkins + Bugg

FISH: Lewis + Birchall + Adams + Giles + Smedts + Johnson
If my lot can get 300 I might just claw my way to victory, if not it's feeding time for your school who should be good for at least 500+
It's now:

CRAB: 55 points + Hawkins

FISH: Smedts + Johnson

3/4 time in the last game you need Johnson to score 20pts in the last to scale to victory, I need him to do a hammy

Glad to jag the win especially as I had buggered up the downgrade part of my pre-round trades and copped a donut as a result. #:-s

There were some big matches in Division III this week with Harrynutts cleaning up yours truly in the top of the table clash to claim outright premiership favouritism. macca has a pretty decent side and he'll be hard to stop in this premiership. As you read above a pre-adjustment tie between top four teams TEAM_FISH and Crab Mustard FC has resulted in a one point victory to Fishy. OUCH. That's gotta hoit!

WLF returned to their best form to clean up Pump up ze Jams who have also been going very well lately. It's hard to see anyone outside these six sides pushing for the flag so this week's results could well prove to be telling. Jams haven't done much wrong lately but a fine 2502 put paid to their impressive winning streak. The Wombats! have copped another key loss this week from relegation threatened Lodgelads and the Wombats look to be the vulnerable team in the top eight after losing to The Willies last week.

Sunny Palm Pilots' season has taken off in recent weeks and they racked up a handy 2490 to sink Trader's season all the while keeping theirs alive. In the relegation zone FridayKnightFool is in season best form and look out anyone who has to take on the Fools in the last four weeks as they look far too good to go down. All of a sudden BlueOwlOde is starting to look a bit wobbly and looking a likely Division IV candidate.

vulnerable isnt the word id use, im gone! looking at the sides i have left to play i expect that i wont win another game for the rest of the season! i play all of the top four so unless i can drastically turn around my scoring i expect they will all be getting a handy percentage boost from me leading into their finals campaigns!

After a good start the Crabs have been smashed by injury and form and with no trades or coverage will miss the finals. 9-10 players out this week. My only hope of promotion now is that REB finishes top 4 in the finals and I can hold on and score enough to be the highest point scorer outside the final 4

REB how will the highest point scorer outside the final 4 be determined?

Does it include the first two (non-league) rounds?
Does it include the four Supercoach finals rounds?

With plenty of trades left and a pretty intact team I'm hoping to overhaul the Crabs and leap to promotion!

Promotion Rules for this league.

- The Cat Empire won't go up.
- Preliminary Finalists go up.
- If The Cat Empire make the Preliminary final it is the losing Semi Finalist that is ranked highest in the overall Hogg rankings (i.e. Points) will go up.

On current ladder positions it is

UP

Harrynutts
Crab Mustard
FISH

And highest overall season scorer out of (assuming they qualify for Semi Finals)

WLF
Pump up ze Jams

Well Ablett got 133 and Pendlbury only got 132 so on that basis I'll definitely win! :-bd

The mighty Cat Empire is back on top of the Division III ladder after we cleaned up Crab Mustard for the second time this season. pels' Backyarders played their part too by upsetting the even mightier Harrynutts but perhaps the shark in the fish tank in this division is WLF who has recorded a second massive score in as many weeks and is now back in the top four.

For teams outside the top four Pump up ze jams appear to have lost a bit of form at the wrong time of the year (not sure there is a right time to lose form mind you) and the Willies have also began to falter. As predicted by their own coach a couple of weeks ago, the Killer Wombats! could well be gone as they are now out of the eight as THE BLOODS move in. Just as a reminder folks that the BLOODS are already in Division II so like the Cat Empire, they can't be promoted. But if you want to get promoted you have to beat these teams.

The Sunny Palm Pilots and FridayKnightFool are teams that have kept their hopes alive with the Fools climbing out of the relegation zone in a comeback of lazarus like preportions. A few weeks ago Lodgelads and Trader were being discussed by this writer as being Division III finalists and now both straddle the dreaded black line with a visit to Division IV the 'prize' for whoever finishes below it. I keep writing off BlueOwlOde but they keep on coming up with wins and thus putting the heat on Lodgey and Trader. Only three weeks to go lads so not a great time to be near that line.

Yep it was a good tussle with both of having the usual mix of stars and spuds, but in the end Reddens 95 for me and Campbells donut for you helped me get over the line...
