Need Joel Selwood to do a Dean Cox and Buddy to do a Ryan Hargreave to get me back in it. I've only beaten Hawkeye once in four seasons!

MILLERS MOSQUITOES and Squeakeroos DTC were the big losers in Hogg Premier League this week as both teams took a tumble after recording less than stellar results in the 13th round. MILLERS have been off the boil a bit in recent weeks and the in form Poon Army pounced to record an excellent 2453 and drag himself into the top eight. MILLERS have now dropped to fourth spot and they now have a fight on their hands to remain in the top four. Meanwhile Squeaky has dropped out of the top eight all the way to 12th after losing to perennial finalist Hondominators YSCC who like Ginger Ninjas, Cat Empire and Dutchy's Dodos have shown that they are not going to go away quietly this season.

Don't Drop Catches and Underdogs have emerged as the major contenders to Darksiders' crown in recent weeks with the Catchers winning the brother battle against Halem Hawks who were shot down when Steve Johnson emerged as a late withdrawal. The Q man may have had some lucky low scoring wins earlier in the season but this week he had the unlucky high scoring loss when his 2354 was not enough to defeat Underdogs who have a solid team. The top eight side that is starting to look a bit iffy is Hawkeye who is not really scoring the points at the moment and still has a lot of GWS players in the line up. If he has the trades now would be the time to use them as many teams want his top eight spot.

The relegation battle became a little clearer as Woodys Dropkicks became the first team under the line for several weeks not to bounce back with a victory although they will get easier assignments than the reigning premier Darksiders SCE. racing thebarton has a history of struggling in this league and it is a case of history repeating itself after they had a bright start to the season and Cork in the Ocean is also starting to struggle. They look the two most likely teams to be under the gun if Woody can turn things around.

I need to hold steady for 2 more weeks with no trades hopefully until Goddard, Walker and Martin get back and then I can reassess where I am at. I think my team is solid enough if I can ever get my full strength side on the park. Having held Pendles for 5 weeks now I hope he (1) plays this week and (2) is close to his best which may be an optimistic expectation. This league is so tight this season!

So you scored over 2300 with Pendles, Walker, Goddard and Martin on the bench?

Yeah, I had Shaw (98), Smedts (78), Gibson (66) and Giles (51) covering the 4 studs + I had Priddis 170 and Pavlich 175. Things fell my way but I don't think it will all work out so nicely 2 weeks in a row. That's I am sweating on the big 4 getting back.

I've got you and Dutchy in the run home and Dutchy got me in Champions League this week. I have Underdogs as well so I'm in a bit of bother I reckon.

Last year was one step forward, but this year is definitely two steps back for Team Cork.
Horrendous injury run, but also a number of risky picks that have been duds.
Crucial relegation match against Woody this week.

The problem I'm going to find now is that I have a heap of trades, but there are FA rookies to downgrade to.

Had the feeling I was going to lose it so didn't bother trading with Ryder out and then another 4 first choices from my side! Will make my last change in bringing in another starting mid this week and side is nearly set

It was an indecisive, strangely anticlimatic week in the Premier League with this week's round of matches not settling anything in particular. There are still numerous teams currently outside the eight that still have a chance as the top teams resolutely refused to put anyone away (!@#$%!!!!!!). Don't Drop Catches was flogged by Ginger Ninjas and MILLERS MOSQUITOES once again failed to beat a side below them on the ladder as the whole comp constricted like a dodgy accordion.

The only thing that really happened was that Cork in the Ocean took one small step forward for a Cork but a giant leap forward for Ocean kind when they easily defeated Woodys Dropkicks which is almost the kiss of death for Woody in the Premier League. Halem Hawks' loss to Poon also rules them out of the top eight hunt and I reckon I'm nearly as gutted by racing thebarton's one point loss as finny is himself!

So with three rounds to go it is possible that any one of the top fourteen teams can win this title, although a hell of a lot would need to go right for those teams who have only six wins on the board.

Still 10th! Bloody hell, thought that win would be enough to make the 8.
