Longwood Lions 1655 def Wonder Elephants 1478
Cossi's Carnts 1834 def Monebrawl 1434
Holland's Heroes 1433 def Strawberries 1013
TEDS 1756 thrashed Finger Banging 1184
Brodlach Bombers 1683 def Tigermad 1212
Honey Badgers 1493 def Kiss My Asp 1090
The Bloods 1571 def Ankles United 1379
Robsquad 1422 def Emu Farmers 860
One Win Wonders 1491 def Red Cans 1420

Let's see how everyone pulls up after the horrid bye rounds, although big congrats to Cossi knocked up an impressive 1834.

Round 14:
Longwood Lions (6th) versus Moneybrawl (15th)- The Lions will get the cookies here, Moneybrawl has been improving, but not quite ready to knock off top eight fancies.
Wonder Elephants (10th) versus Holland's Heroes (12th)- In the bottom half, this will be a match of the round. Both sitting 5-6, one will make the running for finals here, my tip being the Elephants, with the Heroe's trying beyond all trying to avoid a shocking end to the year.
Cossi Carnts (5th) versus TEDS (1st)- Possibly the biggest challenge to the undefeated 11-0 start of TEDS season is the roller coaster ride of Cossi Carnts. Cossi's best will get the job done, but chances are that won't happen, and TEDS will make it twelve straight.
Strawberries (stone motherless 18th) versus Brodlach Bombers (9th)- Percentage boosters haven't been the Bombers bag this year, just eking out victories here and there to be 6-5. The fact is though, he will get that percentage booster this week, and will catapault into the top eight, sorry Strawb.
Finger Banging (13th) versus Honey Badgers (3rd)- Finger Banging, amidst a five match losing streak, will get done here. The Badgers are 3rd on percentage and will be looking to take second spot.
Tiger Mad (7th) versus The Bloods (11th)- Tigermad is running hot, Bloods are starting to limp. Is it just the Bye Round Blues, or is it over? We'll see this week, but Tigermad is surging strong.
Kiss My Asp (16th) versus Rob Squad (14th)- A lower order battle, like Matthew Hayden bowling to Chris Martin. The outcome is largely irrelevant, but bragging rights here.
Ankles United (8th) versus One Win Wonders (2nd)- The Wonders have been wonderful, Ankles has been a quiet achiever. Another quiet achievement could start to finish shaping the top eight.
Emu Farmers (17th) versus Red Cans (4th)- Red Cans will hammer the Farmers. That is all.

Instead of selecting the teams who have lost by the least margin, why not the highest losing scores?

Hey LM using your formula the Guns should be playing G Units not DJ Leni. I'm not fussed but Leni has to play me in this weeks league game he may prefer to come up against someone else?

The formula was based on standings before we entered the bye rounds.

Does that add up now??

Probably should've but on the other hand it's a bit stiff on the middle portion, if you scored 2300 and lost by 2 it's pretty harsh, especially if someone won with 1800.

I probably have more chance of being the closest loser than the highest scoring loser anyway, but in the interest of close games I think it's best to have the highest losing scores going through.
