Wingard isnt in the best 22 yet. Will play 7-10 games for the year, Blee is ripping up the track apparently

All depends if he can get his hip right for round 1. If he can then he will probably get the number 1 ruck spot. Lobbes or Renouf, i wouldnt be fussed come round 1 as long as one of these 2 is fit and firing.....

FS, Probably a fair call re- wingard. A strong NAB cup for him may well put im in the side as pearce has not shown much for a few seasons now....

I reckon I'd start Rodan on the field every day of the week.
That bloke's a gun.
Definitely before Brett Ebert anyway.

Few knee injuries is my only concern with rodes now, and whilst most will agree he is very talented, I see a role for him in the coming seasons as a pinch hitting midfielder. I hope im wrong as he is great to watch.

The way the AFL is structured in todays game with use of interchange.....starting on the pine means stuff all as your most likely to be on the ground within 3 minutes!!!

Daniel Menzel comes straight into side when he has recovered from his knee reco.

I reckon Orren gets a start and that maybe Pods will be slow out of the block with West up forward. Playing West as a sole ruckman with Hawkins as a back up is an option that is not a good look.

I also believe that in order to boost our marking power that Bartel may play up forward more with us playing Christensen in the middle. I can see Duncan being more of an interchange player as well with that line up with T Hunt and Wojo fighting it out for the one on ground spot. Maybe with Wojo coming on as the sub for a pace injection. Also look to Billie Smedts to get a crack this year perhaps at the expense of Wojo or J Hunt.

Do you see any chance of steve motlop getting a consistent run in the cats side REB, provided that he gets his body right of course...

Consistent run? Probably not. They are keen on him but he looks like he's made out of Balsa wood. Stokes, Varcoe, Christensen and probably even Byrnes ahead of him. If he gets another chance and he gets hurt again I reckon he'll be at another club next season. Nobody who doesn't follow the Cats very closely has seen enough of him.

IMO Adelaide's best side looks something like this:

F: Walker, Tippett, Porplyzia
HF: Henderson, McKernan, Petrenko
C: B Smith, Dangerfield, Mackay
HB: Reilly, Talia, Jaensch
FB: Otten, Rutten, Johncock
R: Jacobs, Thompson, Sloane
INT: Doughty, Vince, Douglas, van Berlo

Fringe: L Thompson, Knights, A Riley, Johnston, Wright, Lynch, Tambling, Brown

Reckon some of the main stays of the Adelaide line up in the last few years (ie. Knights, Doughty, Reilly & Douglas) will be feeling the pressure this year.

Hoping for finals action in 2012, but expecting a finish around 9-10th with around 10 wins. A new coach brings a new approach and fresh attitude though, so you never know.

A true reflection of where Adelaide fans see their captain, lucky to make the 22?

I think Lynch will be in the starting 22.

Van Berlo to start or a HBF instead of Reilly

Nope, I rate him highly. I thought last year he really stepped up with the added responsibility, and I think that will continue this year.

I was just throwing names around, as Brodlach said could easily start over Reilly on half back, or even Mackay on the wing.

I reckon Crows will play finals this year.
Won't do a lot of damage, but will be around the mark from 2013 onwards.

Really liked the efforts of T. Walker toward the end of last season.

Not in my side he wouldn't..

But yep from all reports he'll be lining up, definetly for NAB Cup games and see how he goes.

Warnock has a few issues so Kreuz & Hammer will ruck. Really need to keep Hendo down back.

Gee he would want to have improved a fair bit from last year then. Drops way too many marks and at times his kicking was average at best.
