For the history buffs, yesterday was 11 years since Mario Lemieux made his comeback for Pittsburgh

What an awesome player, has there been anyone that has done so much for a franchise from player to owner and keeping the team in Pittsburgh.

Next instalment of NHL 24/7 is on tonight on Fox Sports.

And the Winter Classic is on Monday morning at about 5am on Fox Sports (safe to say I'll just iQ it and watch it later - or hope for a 5 hour delay like last year  ).

The Winter Classic has been postponed from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Philadelphia time due to the weather forecast (forecast is 5C and windy, which may see a change of ends halfway through the 3rd period ala last year)

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=609294

For us, it means it goes from 4:30am to 6:30am, and will be on Fox Sports 2.

In an action packed Winter Classic, the New York Rangers defeat Philadelphia 3-2.

My iQ lasted until just after the Philadelphia penalty shot with 19.2 seconds left, should have had the +20 minutes on it

Another classic Penguins moment - Mario Lemieux's 5 goals 5 different ways (even strength, power play, shorthanded, penalty shot, empty net) on NYE 1988 @ the defunct Civic Arena
