Yeah CT, I'll get you the scores tonight (if I remember) from friday. Do you only need scores from this round?

I think the investment in a white board that could be displayed behind the bar that we could publish all the rounds results on would be great. That way the team on the bar on sunday would also have a big reminder to send the scores through to the webmaster & everyone headed down would be able to have the results on hand. I think this would be better than the A4 piece of paper that is currently there!

Pretty disappointing to hear that another club has made a $$$ offer to one of our players  . I know the world turns full circle and i once parted ways with Na Fianna to help build another club and was renumerated/looked after in several different ways but the offer being made is impossible for us to compete with and we will not pay our players or Coaches (we should pay our coaches- we should pay them a lot)
Its pretty hard to keep a secret for too long around Gaelic Park Kevin and i look forward to straightening this out in the next 48 hours :-k

Wow tell us more Wristy! Whats the go? Who is this contract rebel??

Could this be the most contentious trade since "Stevo-Gate" when a young Mike Stevenson left the near bankrupt Taints mid season for the greener pastures of Onkas? which many say was the catalyst for the Taints staging a miraculous resurgence and winning back2back Hannigan Cups and ringing Stevo late night from various clubs

I think the Taints boys have been very harsh on Stevo for this. At Taints, he knew hardly anyone whereas he had 5 or 6 good mates at Onkas who had been in his ear from day 1 about coming out to play for them.

All parties will be meeting tomorrow and the situation should be finalised. Its hard to believe things like employment, vehicle and living arrangements have been discussed not to menion the obvious renumeration. At this stage if he wants to go we will be clearing him but im confident that we should be able to keep him.Thursday arvo all will be revealed.
As for Stevo-gate, i guess its no coincidence that he was given the nickname "*#&@ bloke" =)) just kidding ;) Hopefully if the unthinkable does happen to Na Fianna it will galvanise us and lead us to the promised land of Hannigan Cup glory.

The St Brendans faithful* have never forgiven Stevo, Nick Jolly and Gav O’Reilly for turning their backs on the green & gold.

What about Richard 'Dicky" Jones, Corey "Wookie" Britcher and Preston "everyone is wearing my guernsey" Grund who are all members of the Na Fianna 7 a side squad.
The Saints are the most poached club in SA Gaelic football history AND DONT THINK WE HAVENT THROWN SOME BIG $$$ AT SEANNY DUNNE EITHER

Na Fianna did temporarily poach Sean Dunne at one stage as well Wristy...

However it was only for a minute to get him express entry into a St Patty's day party!

And really who does this Kevin bloke think he is? There's some rediculous coin being thrown around..

Coach Milsom and The Big Polish Dingo will be pleased, or maybe unpleased, to know no offers have been made to me.

 IIRC this bloke played like 4 or 5 games for the Taints - and is actually related to long time Taint Tim "Reg" Grund. To highlight the hilarious lack of communication and interaction between our players in those dark times i remember this bloke saying to me (i was goalkeeping with a broken collar bone) at 1/2 time of about his 3rd game "i think im related to our number 10 who plays in defence" and the two of them looking at each other and realising they were cousins and having a mini family reunion!!

I also remember us also playing St Nick Jolly as a dashing half back flanker...

All correct...
I reffed the game in which Nick "The Situation" Jolly was St. Nick Jolly and needless to say only one ref ever has given more frees against the big fella in a game than i did on that day. He was a train wreck of fouls and on the job learning the hard way  . He was raw, real raw. Steak tar-tar is less raw :))
As for the great Preston Grund, he left me with one rather disturbing memory. Despite the fact that he attended P.A.C and comes from an affluent family Presto only had one pair of size 4 skin tight, hot pants like short shorts that quite simply didnt fit and were indeed "Prest-On"
