here we go another season of shite about slow run rates.... Atleast were not 8/180 off 50 overs FFS! Give me this spot anyday...

Run rate over 3 with an old ball, 2 set batsmen and plenty of overs left. Anyone who thinks there's a problem with the current run rate knows nothing about cricket. Should easily get to 300+ before stumps if we don't lose a few quick wickets.

If we only make 300 by stumps we need to bowl well or having a really sporting declaration to have any chance of anything anything other than a draw. One more wicket and our batting could get rolled.

Beau Casson's return to cricket with New South Wales has taken a most unfortunate turn after the former Australian left-arm wrist spinner was taken to hospital.

Recalled to the NSW side for the first Sheffield Shield match of the summer, against South Australia at Adelaide Oval, 28-year-old Casson felt unwell and left the field shortly before lunch on day one. He was later hospitalised for monitoring of his state.
