Kupsch's bakery in Crystal Brook has awesome pasties and pies and their open tin bread loaves (hi-tops) are to die for.
Recipes are old and traditional and the ingredients are sourced locally
People who bought this book also bought a stool and some rope. Unknown literary critic

Two Wells bakery is one too make a trip to for sure. the bloke that owns it has turned the place around and is top notch. Outside of SA, and you make a trip up to Darwin, about 300km before Darwin is a place called Mataranka Hot Springs, has a meat pie worth $13 and is the best pie you'll eat in my opinion, if you make your way that way, you should try this one

The one FC took me to on the way back from a day out in Berri. Was on the roadside next to a petrol station, shop/cafe with a big orange tree on the roof and an olive oil shop :-??

Easily the best steak pie I've ever had...and I've had a few over the years. The blueberry turnover was damned fine too. Also came with a view...sitting out back on the cliff edge looking out over the Murray. Definitely plan to revisit even if I have to walk there :tonqe: :D

Tumby Bay bakery has a very good doughnut

Stone Hut best meat pies I have ever had

Kiplings at Wakefield have a pretty good kitchener bun

The 24hr bakery in Norwood is pretty good when starving late at night.

Heard a few bad stories about that place and hasn't been much chop every time I've been there. Can't complain about the view though!

Stopped in at Beechworth Bakery last week, and it has ruined all other bakeries for me. Well not quite, but it was damn fine!

I remember eating Gawler South pies during a day out at Argana Park back in the 1990s...I ate about 6 that day...

The Cakemaster on Grange Rd at Flinders Park make reasonable pies, pasties and sausage rolls...try their coconut finger buns...

Even though this is a bakery thread, I'll throw in this one...there is a Vietnamese roll shop across the road from the Finsbury Hotel on Hanson Road...try one of their pork rolls...absolutely amazing! I always pull in there on Saturday mornings when going to work...not unusual to have a line up of cars out the front!
