For the Sturt v Port / Carlton v Power I hope they take the tarps off. Last time Carlton played, GA room sold out, and only left the Northern stand available at inflated prices.....

Thats the point of the matter, in Fester's case he is a member of the NFC and has an all home and away games season ticket and his kids are all Junior members which each cost $40.00.

Why not admit any kids for free, provided that they A) turn up with a parent bearing a PAM/Norwood season ticket, and B) seek admittance prior to the start of the SANFL match?

Nah that would be way too fair and easy.Pseudo wrote:A thought struck me on the way to work...

I must be missing something.
Normally, his kids would not be sitting in the members stand for a Port v Norwood game - basically because they wouldn't be playing at AAMI. If the game was at Alberton I'm guessing they would be standing in the outer like everyone else..... As such it 'seems' that to do the same 'stand/sit' in the outer - at another venue for $2.50 doesn't seem tyo be worth burning the stands down for.
It seems similar to me signing up to a 24 month phone plan at $60 a month, and then 3 months later the Telco offers a better plan for the same cost..... bad luck for me ... but I'm still getting exactly what I've paid for.
Are you saying your Norwood membership gets you into the members at AAMI ? I'm guessing this is where the aggravation is coming from ? That the SANFL club members get access to members stand at AAMI ..... I'm guessing this entitlement is aimed at SANFL finals (given that clubs normally dont play there).
I'm just trying to understand the issue..

I understand completely ... he's whinging for the sake of whinging.
He's getting everything he normally would for an away SANFL game..... (with a hit of $2.50 per kid) but as there is a possibility that he can get a bit more (into AAMI members) he wants even more than he would normally get - rather than just accepting that as its an away game he would normally be sitting/standing in the outer - which he can do for free - and for $2.50 per kid (which should be free IMO).

Cause it generates no revenue for Port

But - and Booney ought to back me up here - it's only a piddly $2.50 per kid. Surely forgoing the entry prices for a hundred or so kids is not going to make a serious dent in the Port coffers - but will go a long way towards placating the Norwood and PAM fans who are (rightly) aggrieved at having to jump through AFL hoops to see their team.

The SANFL has clearly provided the ticket pricing for SANFL members for the AFL curtain raisers.

There should be no confusion based on that information.
