Alot of love for them and they only snuck in due to 2 outrights and pom playing well for them!
2 outrights isn't exactly sneaking, is it? There were only 6 in the A Grade all season, they had a third of them.
1 was council/pitch related
1 was after they secured first innings against us (out played us) a scenario was set and the won on the last ball
have they beaten Sturt Woodville or kensis this year?

the pitch at price could do with a bit of a wet down.. big cracks in the wicket before a ball was bowled.. great to bat on, very hard work to bowl on

Batting slowly apparently, but with an hour to go and two set bats and 8 guys in the shed, they should get 6 an over from the last 20 odd overs. Unless Port get quick wickets they could be chasing 280-300. Runs on the board is the key and hard to chase down, no matter what the score in a final.

Moffatt was far from in control, couldnt get it off the square for about an hour before the tea break, played and missed a heap. If tea was 5 overs later i doubt he would have made it to the break

Agreed Moffatt was far from in control, i think he worked hard and concentrated well, but struggled to hit the ball in the middle, he must have scored 6 runs from inside edges past the stumps down to fine leg.
Borgas was very impressive and in full flight at the end, and looked a class above the rest. Didnt give a chance and was always in control.
Port 3/110 or so with 42 overs to be bowled today. I wasnt aware finals (other than the GF) could be played over 3 days. Someone will have to bat very well for Port, but Dilley is going nicely and Weeks is at the crease.
