Cheap flights

Howdy everyone,

I'm looking to get the cheapest flights i can to fly to melbourne for a long weekend coming up in March. I didn't know where else to go to ask so i figured i may aswell throw this up on here.

Does anyone have any tips.. i want them reasonabley cheap. For me to leave on a friday and come back monday at the moment is pretty dear because i want a friday night and later on the monday.

I think my best bet is happy hour on virgin blue? Anyone got any information.. i know nothing to be honest lol

They're a broker (of sorts), try your luck there

Thanks PR.. similar to the prices on the site's.

I'm still thinking my best bet may be Virgin's happy hour.. anyone know much about it?

Virgin Blue can be cheap, sometimes charging $120 return.. just book as early as possible to get cheapest flights.

virgin blue or jet star usually have the cheapest airfares. check their web sites and punch in your travel times to find out the costs.

just checked jet stars jetsaver flights.

fri 16th leave adelaide 3.30pm arrive melb(avalon) 5.15pm $74 flight jq 369
mon19th leave melb(avalon) 9.40pm arrive adelaide 10.20pm $69 flight jq 368

Avalon isn't gonna help because i want Melbourne Airport. I know it's going to be pretty dear because it's a long weekend, and i want to fly out on the friday night and come back the monday night.

Oh well.. will wait for happy hour tommorow.
