So, after a week of correspondence ( several email over 4 days ) I finally come to an agreement with a client to meet at 2pm today, the first mutually agreeable time we have found in our schedules.

The meeting, in a Gawler Place residence, is set for 2pm. I head into the city about 1:15, park in the car park near police HQ on Gawler Place just off Wakefield St and walk down to the meeting place. I'm there at 1:40, announce my presence to the receptionist and take a seat, yes, I realise I am a little early.

At 2:05 the receptionist takes an internal call ( you can tell by the one "ring" - not two ) from my client advising he may be another 5-10 minutes, no problem. The project I am there to negotiate is worth it for me, not a huge one, but of some significance.

At 2:20 the phone rings again, "Sorry, **** will be another 5 minutes or so". "No problem,I can stay busy here". I took and made a few calls.

At 2:40 I enquire as to ****'s whereabouts, to which reception pages him.....hmmm, no answer. "I'll try his mobile"...."Hi ****, Booney is here, just wondering how long you will be? Oh, thanks for that" she says.

"Um, sorry, it seems he has left to go to another appointment, I really am sorry"

"WTF?" "Tell him I wont be calling him and Im sorry he put you in that position" I say. So a $15 car park bill and and nearly 2 hours wasted.
