STAMPY just an update for you #-o
NS 270
WA 152

CLARKE 14.4 OVERS 2 MAIDENS 8/58

QL 0/182
MAHER 117[137] he is scorching
D HARRIS 9 OVERS 0/21 [-X
ADCOCK just came on 0/12 off 2 overs

BAILEY is one of the hottest prospects in Australian cricket
Was controversially selected in front of CULLEN which made sense to me.
SO WHY HAS HE NOT BOWLED YET :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

LEHMANNS handling of the young leggie this year has been diabolical at times
If you bowl Dan HARRIS 2nd change you might as well Open the batting with TAIT

I don't think you can legitimately have a go at Dan Harris when he's bowling at 2.33 runs an over. Dizzy, Tait and Adcock are all at 4/over...

CHESS winning games of cricket means taking wickets
not bowling your 7th best bowler at 0/90 after about 20 overs
Dan HARRIS is a majestic opening batsman
not a middle order batsman
not a 2nd change bowler

SA 377
QL 4/325 were 0/263
MAHER169[214] whoosh
PERRON 26*
HARTLEY 6*
D.HARRIS 0/21[9] economical but as usual no wickets[bowl him in the o/d games please]
LEHMANN 1/1[3]
DIZZY 2/72

I hope at 37 years old BOOF learnt something today,
that he is a better bowler tha Dan HARRIS.

NS 270
WA 152
NS 5/141
LEAD BY 269, interesting game
Once again CLARKE 8/58 what a bowler.

DIETZ + TAIT made a record last wicket partnership of 89 for SA
Previous best was 32 in 1991-1992 by Tim MAY + Chris OWEN.
Hard to beleive it was only 32 for the previous best.

Is that record for last wicket partnership in the whole Sheffield Shield/Pura Cup or against Queensland. I agree it would be hard to believe it would be our biggest last wicket partnership for every game in the last 100 years or so.

SA 377
QL 6/379
PERRON 57*
BICHEL 7*

CHESS =D> =D> =D>

Wait for it, it finally worked Dan HARRIS took the 2 wickets this morning
HARRIS 15 OVERS 4 MAIDENS 2/42.
I apologise for saying he is not a bowler
I have never seen him bowl and should never have passed comment.
I will never re-nig on COSGROVE being a bad bowler however, I have seen him in action.

As for the game
Another contrived result perhaps.

NS 270
WA 152
NS 6/228
HADDIN 41*
CLARK 12*

NS lead by 346 and should win with Stuart superstar CLARK bowling for them
WA on the other hand, if they can see out CLARK can feast on the back up bowlers

Qld finished 9/409 with Hopes not batting

Harris was out lbw to Bichel for 5
Elliott completed a fine pair but probably won't be dropped

Boof smashed a half century off just 25 balls! He is 55 off 37 now with Borgas 12

ELLIOTT A MAGNIFICENT PAIR

this guy is an absolute joke, there are no words that describe this guys performance for us over the last 2 years, but especially this season.

HE MUST GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I DONT GIVE A FLYING **** IF HE IS GOOD FOR THE YOUNGER PLAYERS, AND HE'S GOOD TO HAVE AROUND WITH THE CURRENT TEAMS POSITION.

HIS POSITION DOESNT WARRANT HIM PLAYING FIRST CLASS CRICKET

HE NEEDS TO

A) RETIRE - and its too late to retire gracefully because we will all remember your selfish poor performances this season

B) BE DROPPED - i forgot the SELECTORS absolutely LOVE him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the situation is a joke all year, younger players have been dropped when they havent put in a real BAD performance, but ELLIOTT whose whole season has been BAD is SAFE and obviously has IMMUNITY from being DROPPED.

stealing AG'S favourite saying

WADH
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Haven't seen him bat in person, but Jason Borgas looks very good, seems like he can handle first class cricket quite well. J Borgas and D Harris should open for the Redbacks for a while I think.

4/217
Borgas 68
Adcock 6

Good double by Cosgrove 109 & 67

Borgas is a very well organised batsman, extremely disciplined and very fit. Added to that, he is an above average fieldsman. I always thought he should get a cap, but I have to admit I didn't really expect him to get off to such a good start. I thought it may take him a few games to lift to the tempo of 1st class cricket. He doesn't have the shot selection of a Lehmann or a Cosgrove, but he makes up for it in application.

A third Borgas, Isaiah made his A grade debut on the weekend with 115 for Northern Districts. He is 16, captain of the victorious U17 state team, and I believe a cousin to Cameron and Jason. So we could have three batsmen named Borgas in the team in the next season or two. :)
