I have some great memories of the JC thread in the early days. It was great fun landing some big priced winners..... and YES dodgy in a JC odds on look on is a wise move. Having the internet access taken away at my place of employment was why I quit the site as I was spending all my time watching the races and looking for overs/mistakes/over-reactions. It was almost addictive.

I will have time on my hands shortly and look forward to contributing to the site and putting up my progress (profit/loss). To put it simply you need the time to study all the riders and you have to have the time to search for the overs/mistakes/over-reactions.

I will concentrate on laying favourites/under priced horses on betfair as I am sure betting (laying) in a market that operates around 105% is better than taking odds in a market that operates on about 150% (average JC market).... but that is not to say I will not put time into the JC's as I will be. The majority of my punting will be laying horses on betfair.... I plan to study very hard to find horses that I think can't win and if they do win they will not be at a huge price..... So I guess over time I am hoping to lay horses that lose more times than their odds suggest. I an very confident I have the capabilities, and in some cases inside knowledge, to do this.

Hope you all have a merry Xmas and hope to see you in the new year on the new JC thread.

Good onya mate for backing yourself in enough to have a crack .. No doubt it won't be easy, but I admire the "have a crack attitude" and of course I hope it works out VERY well for ya mate!!

It brings a tear to my eye when I re-live the memories of the JC thread.

Admittedly, they were juch more colourful when AG was here full-time.
I kick myself at the thought of being here only once or twice or week with limited support, but it's still a golden talking point.

Looking back, here are a few moments worth reminiscing.

They make me chuckle, hopefully I can be in a similar position with AG in the new year and we can join forces and find some VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV for value.
