Did hear a funny story about a certain Div 1 captain getting injured and the manner in which he was injured. ;)

i've got alot of time for the youngs lads from fitzroy thats for sure the thing i like most about these lads is when you talk to them they look you straight in the eye and listen what i say to them. superbad will be a great opening bat for a long period of time thats for sure got a great head on his shoulders, tyson will be one of the best all-rounders in the churches comp in 2 years very under rated bowler and is a very good bat and yes pidge bowled a great first spell today has the perfect build to be a great opening bowler nice technique when he fills out will be alot better this sydney trip will really helpn a lad like pidge.

I fear for Pidge's safety/niativity/innocence if he goes to Sydney with you blokes.

Hope Hollywood Harry goes too. Def good for the current and future of the assoc team.

Is that because your intellect isn't capable of sustaining a continuous and educated arguement for a long period of time? You feel the need to try and get personal?

I feel sorry for you, must be hard growing up without friends or support :(

And to think today is just day 1 of 5. Who will last the full 5 days, or will it just fizzle out to a boring draw.

Man, it's taken me 20mins to read 7 pages of s**t!

It's easy to be critical of a side dismissed for 53, and criticism is certainly warranted in this instance. But these things happen in cricket. How can you explain Fitzies chasing down 300 in the semi and failing to get to 50 in the GF? :? It's just cricket.. We will learn a lot from our mistakes. Full credit to PDCA who bowled good areas in conditions highly favourable for having a trundle. I dare say that if the coin came down the other way, it could well have been a different story. Even if we scrapped to 120, it would've been game on. But we didn't and it wasn't.. As long as we take lessons from it, especially the young fellas, this poor batting effort wasn't completely in vain.

A few things I'd like to mention.. I'd like to extend my thanks to the numbers of people who came out to support the lads, especially the large contingent from Fitzroy. Thank you guys! I'd like to dish out a massive THANKS to OB, who just worked his arse off today - and in the lead up - to make sure things went relatively smoothly today! You're a champion mate!
