this will create an interesting recruiting environment now given that clubs have no doubt started for 2011 and will need to address what their carry over points are from 2010 to then know what they have left to aim for. it's going to create a real juggling act for footy directors and coaches.
not sure how '25 games of school football' will be managed to ascertain a zero point player playing for an OS club as this would be largely unknown compared to 25 games played as a junior at a club where there would be accurate records.
As of 2011 there will be a national data base of every footballer playing from their first ever game. Their registration number will carry with them for the rest of their playing days.
This will make registrations, clearances, tribunal matters, permits, games played & clubs played for & etc, just so easy to govern.
Another brilliant inception which will help all clubs everywhere. I am quite sure the CFB had something to do with this, we may have missed out on that access too if we hadn't decided to affiliate........
