Can you enlighten me with when we've ever displayed this "usual BS" and stayed down when we could've been promoted? No you can't, because as usual with your own BS, you shoot from the lip before allowing that very fragile grey matter the opportunity to intervene before you make a fool of yourself.

It would seem not even the best team div 7 could produce this year, never mind the best team in a long time ...LMAO

Sums it up really...Wish I still had the number of the CU bloke who rang me up to heckle us halfway through the year.

Dont think any one from Central United said they where the best team in div 7(cant count mr.m because he is no longer a player there). What i have seen and heard about div 7 this year, everybody keeps saying how strong the div is.I think Central United have performed pretty well, they are a side that won 1 game in the last two years and after getting dropped to div 7 have done really well to be promoted back to div 6. They won 14 games in a row until yesterday and where due to drop one, but i know they played bad but i think Uni played a lot better football. The units look a pretty young side that may played the game before they got there, uni also looked young but had to much height/pace for the units to cover. How Central United respond to playing div 6 next year will be interesting, they will have to recruit players to be play finals just like Uni will have to.

Fait comments demon Duke but you fail to factor one thing into it. Uni can't go and recruit for their C grade like all other teams except Henley do. Their fortunes are directly influenced by the A grade.

I now that it depends on your "a" grade because this is your'e third side, so if your'e 'A' grade recruit well it will push players down to your side from div2r.

The only team I remember being pencilled in for the flag was someone who kept reminding us that he tipped Central United in February. I guess it shows you can't predict who'll win any flag until perhaps 3/4 time of the GF ;)

Congratulations to Simon Ritchie and the Uni boys on a great win yesterday. Had a bit too much height for the youthful Units who will be better for the experience.

And to the classy 'Unit' who rang The Riddler half way through the season sprouting off after beating Adelaide Uni.....well those Footy Gods work in mysterious ways.

Does that mean you did order shirts after round 9!! Yeah i tipped them in Feb to win the flag and they fell just short. At least i did not Pick Mawson Lakes to win the flag, where did they finish. The game yesterday was over before 1/2 time and the better side on the day won.

Of the blacks five losses throughout the minor round, four came between 10 and 14 which I believe is exam and holiday time.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Well if any team was going to buy Premiership T-Shirts after Round 9 it would have been Adelaide Uni.....cos guess who was top then. ;)

Or perhaps that's who you were insinuating Nostradamus?

Congratulations Adelaide Uni. Caught us on an off day, just unfortunate that it was the GF. A loss is a loss but we achieved what we sought to achieve when signing Andy Stewart and that is to get back oin to Division 6 and beyond. Despite a few little fights back at the club(un-doubtably due to excessive consumption of alcohol) a big night was enjoyed by all and the beer was still flowing today. GO UNITED!!!

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

They were unaccountable, arrogant, lazy and quite honestly looked like they had spent the last week celebrating the premiership!
With the exception of their number 11 (woodward?) and their ruckman i though the rest were beyond average.

Worse still is to sit back and here supporters and some players alike bring out excuses such as Adel uni dropping 10 div 2 players to win the game, umpires were disgracefull cheats and CU only lost coz of poor kicking.. i know losing GFs is hard but you knwo show some decorum and respect for the oppostion, you lost and lost easily, accept it and move forward! Quite frankly with the way you side played today you will be lucky to win a game next season in div6!

Well sorry you had to go through that mate. Their supporters are disgraceful. When I heard that CU were in the GF, I thought it looked like bigger trouble than some inbred in the U.S.A. burning the Koran. Just as well they lost, could you imagine the carnage that would have occured if they won?
