Where to now for South Adelaide?

What is the answer?

The gap between #1 and #9 is far too great.

Should we go to 8 clubs. %-( :-ss :vom:

Yep agree. Lets get rid of Centrals. Might give someone else a chance.

Getting rid of one club is not the answer.

I dont really have an answer.

The gap is widening, not shortening, like we would like to believe.

Who knows the answer, who ever does will go to the top of the class.

West were a total basket case just a few years ago, not that we are fully out of the case yet but the lid is off. Hopefully Ron Fuller will drag the club upwards, it certainly wont be a quick result but I am sure he will. Keep you chin up South supporters, its the lean times that make the good times so much better.

From a Westies point of view, the two stories of the day were the strong debut of young Brad Helbig and the excellent form of Logan Hill.

1700 ? Where in the hell were they? The smallest crowd that i have ever seen at a SANFL match. Honestly thought that there would've been less than a 1000 there.
Ben Warren will be playing in front of bigger crowds next season in the GSFL when the Creeks plays traditional rival Strathalbyn.

I really hoped that South would be able to at least win 4-6 games this year. To win only 2 is a major disappointment.

Everyone keeps saying things will get better, but how long are the Panther faithful prepared to wait?

I think the earliest they could contemplate playing finals is 2013...

Noarlunga crowds can be a little misleading, due to the car factor. Having said that, I thought there was 1200-1300 tops. The stand and the hill were pretty sparse.

Disappointing , given Westies needed to win, and it was the final game for South with one of their favourite sons retiring.

Can anyone tell me if there was a count taken during the U18s game between South and West?

I have been told by 2 different sources, that West had 19 on the field at one stage so a count was taken?

Can anyone shed some light on it?

And what gets me, is that there are other matches when you could swear there was more, and the crowd is given as less.

I have my doubts if there were 1700 people there on saturday, if there was lots of them must have gone home at the end of the reserves game.

I am amazed by the numbers reported at times
