I know why you're interested... obviously you guys thought you got a terrible run.
Obviously we had more free kicks early, but I did think we were first to the ball and the majority were there... some touchy ones (both ways)
I thought when your coached screamed at you guys at half time "this is about us!" He got the message right... some of your players did you guys no favours the way they carried on. Everyone gets frustrated with umpiring at times, but you get nowhere abusing/back chatting.
Well played on the weekend, great effort from 5 goals down, I think eliz will cause headaches in major round.

But then who will umpire.........

Yeah, still me LOL. I've been asked to don the guernsey every week since the start of the season, there's back up umpires if I take the offer up.
?
If you play LM the team will start looking like a Smithfield "A' team of the 90's' Hicks,Vandongen,Fry,Griffiths,Vawser, you only need Moss, Maggs and few others.

I clearly thought that was less funny than you did....

Look you guys were first to the ball in the first half and yes I definately accept you getting the benefit of the doubt with some ticky touch free kicks when that was the case. First to the ball should be protected however............

Yes we didnt do ourselves any favours but its just soooooo fustrating! It makes you not want to play footy when they ruin the game like they did. We got tackled it was holding the ball, your guys got tackled it was too high, hanging on or a ball up 99% of the time.....Plus saying to one of our players "go on, hit me" is a disgrace. And almost pinching me for something I was nowhere near is bemusing...I dont know I think it was a little worse than you are letting on.... ;)

I think it will be very close between Nth Haven and Hope Valley to get 5th spot in the B grade. Nth Haven have Smithfield in the last round which could help there percentage.
IMO any of the top 4 teams in the B grade could win the GF. Having our A grade finish high up the ladder could help us in the finals ;)

Would like to think that if we can string 4 qtrs of decent footy together we would be a chance come finals. We played probably 1 good quarter on the weekend and almost done Plympton. I dont think we too far off. Elizabeth still the benchmark for me.

It's been very nostalgic over the past few weeks, Mossy plays for Willaston so he wont be an option. This week is going to be interesting, the two strongest teams playing off in the B's.

Old Terry is a quality umpire. Give him some lip at your own peril, you might just get some right back at ya!

Old Terry needs to work on his beer holding abilities, he was last seen on early Saturday evening, around 7ish, staggering for a taxi after a few cans with boys.

gee boozer you are funny, i remember a game a few weeks back where you were paid 3 marks after pushing the fullback a yard forward ;) then getting a holding the ball when 15 players were laying on top of it ;) take those 4 goals away and you wouldnt be in the 5 at the moment so i wouldnt grizzle about umps to much
