Have seen over the past week;

Knight & Day. A reasonable popcorn movie. Tom Cruise gives me the shits, but I like Diaz so she get's it over the line for me. 3 stars.

Shrek (Forever After). Another good one for the franchise. Lacking the wit from the first two movies, just like the third did, but overall a good film for the family. 3.5 stars.

Toy Story 3. Loved it. Very entertaining. A good story line, a few laughs and the usual added adult humour. Colourful, great voices, and a pity the series is over. 4.5 stars.

Saw Inglorius Basterds last night.

Brilliant!

Tarintino is an artist.

The dialogue and simple interrogation is fascinating.

Saw this Monday and loved it! Great storyline, very entertaining. Forked out to watch it in 3D though and it wasn't worth it, normal would've been fine.

Just rolled in home from Inception.

I loved it.
Had to think, kept me guessing and a great ending which is the key to a good movie.

You need to be in that thinking mode to enjoy it.
If you just wanted to lazily catch a flick it might get abit tiresome.

Finally managed to watch "The Road" around 4am this morning .. Top quality movie and rather gloomy, but thought provoking at the same time.

Harry Potter 6 (Half Blood Prince).

The first couple were (IMO) genuine kids movies, but as he goes thru the grades at school, it gets distinctly more "adult," and I can't wait for the last one's to come out...

V for Vendetta is on GO! tonight at 9:30. I absolutely love that movie. I did a huge in depth study on it in year 11 because I found it so interesting. The concept of it is awsome IMO.

Also watched Shanghai Knights on Saturday night. I love that film aswell.

Really enjoyed Greenberg though it won't appeal to all (most?).

Definitely have to be a fan of American indie cinema.

Ben Stiller should take more of these restrained roles...

Saw the movie 9 on Saturday night.
An animated moofie by Tim Burton, starring Elijah Wood and John C Reilly.

I'd never heard of it but it was a bloody good moofie!

Great film.

Unfortunately, like a-lot of the great 1970s directors Peter Bogdanovich crashed and burned. Still bobs up every now and then. Works mainly in TV.

1968-1980: the true golden age of American cinema...

I seen both Salt and also the expendables last week.

Salt had a good story line but some of the action was a little over the top, apart from that really enjoyed.

the expendables, I had heard a few bad things about it, I really enjoyed it, gave you a few corny laughs and there were plenty of explosions.

Both good movies!
