Was there for Easter this year with the family, normally do a boys trip to the dog fence but had to make some concessions this year. We were lobbing baits and lures into massive schools of salmon but they just wouldn't bite, very frustrating. Awesome part of the world though, love being up there. Only 5 hours from Lincoln is good!!

We do the trip every November to Fowlers and the Dog fence. I fly from Adelaide to Pt Lincoln where I meet up with a few mates who live there.

We find a $2 lure from a Ceduna store works best for the Salmon for some reason, they just dont seem to take anything else. A local told us about the lure and sold us one each (for $5) and we have been catching them ever since. The lure just looks like a plain old pilchard.
