When I access certain sites the Internet Explorer session I have open shuts down.
It happens when I go to http://www.cdfc.com.au and http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/scores/index.html
I don't know if this is related to Java or what it is.
Anyone got any solutions?

Cue the smartarse to want to know how to get it to work on their pc so they don't have access to the cdfc site.

Definately a Java issue, just try downloading the latest version from either http://www.java.com or http://www.java.sun.com

I'm still having probs with the CDFC site but it gets working eventually, just takes about 30 seconds longer than normal sites.
For some reason they use java for the news part of the homepage, not sure why as some pretty simple html would do a similar job. Probably another eg of people trying to make a page a bit too smart which actually ends up being a huge downpoint of the site instead of being a very minor and small uppoint.

Went to the http://www.java.com site and when I tried to download the session shut down.
Will try a manual download.

Had to blow away the Java I already had first, downloaded again and is now as good as new.
Thanks for the advice.
