ok, i dont care if this turns into another outrageous 'apple vs android' debate.........but please wait till i've got the answers to my questions.

i'm led to beleive that each computer can only have 5 devices synced to it? is this correct? if so, is it possible to delete a device (or two) so i can sync my new iphone to it?

i'm onto my fourth iphone (first one i lost,then an upgrade to a 5, then dropped that one into a fire), and the missus has one, equalling 5 devices.

if this isn't/shouldn't be a problem, i need help getting the songs that i've had on all my previous devices from my computer to my newest phone please. i cant seem to figure it out.

as mentioned, please no silly fighting just yet kiddies.

Haven't looked into this recently but previously it was 5 devices and once you hit the 5 you had the option of removing devices to add others.

So unless things have changed you should be fine.

you can sync as many as you want. You can only have 5 computers with the same apple id account.

cheers for the advice lads, but that wasn't my problem, i got it sorted. apparently you can now have 10 devices synced to the one computer. but my problem was that for some reason the option of manually selecting the audio to be synced was checked, so all i had to do was uncheck that option and away she went.
