ripping MP3 from DVD

Goodpeople

I am trying to rip audio off a music DVD so I can play it in my MP3 player. Have previously used a freeware DVD ripper, but am having no luck with the DVD I bought this weekend. Anyone know a soundproof way to get the audio off of DVD and into MP3 files?

Incidentally, I think the problem is bloody copy protection on the DVD. Is it not ironic that I bought a legitimate DVD but cannot rip the audio which I legally own - whereas if I had downoaded a pirate video then I'd have no problems with it?

DVD audio.

Use vlc, which you should be using to watch all media on your PC.

Forget Ripping from DVD/CD.

I use Youtube Downloader. My music libary is fabulous.

With file converter, easy stuff.

I have video files of all the music i like.

Can convert all these files to whatever format i like.

Worth a try. :D

I keep away from itunes.

Youtube downloader is free.
