What is the difference between the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Note 10.1?

dunno if I class as a boffin but my understanding is one is a phone and one isn't.

The Note has double the RAM, a better processor, a stylus, a much better camera and a larger price tag.
The Note is now a tablet and not a phone and it has a feature where you cqn run two.apps at the same.time all be it a limited choice of apps. The TAB would probably be more reliable.
Both are better than the Ipad!

Kind of. Bit like getting a new Ford Mondeo instead of a Focus Series 3. Probably better but not as reliable.
Generally if you pay more it is better though. The processor and RAM would definately sell me over the TAB if I wanted a tablet. (which I dont as my pc, netbook and phone does everything I want)

ok, Whirpool answered my next question, and has thrown up this- Asus TF700 infinity.

I'm looking to use it for business, taking work-related photos, using it write reports on, email etc- all work related.

I dont want an ipad

Even with all the malware and virus for android don't think so. 14,923 viruses between april and june 2012 where detected, that's 163 a day. If android had some security then I would definately looking at getting until then I'll stick with apple.

I would go Ipad. Don't think anyone has beaten it yet.

It comes down to personal choice for business or pleasure.

Without research, I would say the Ipad would be the most popular tablet today.

I'm confused Dog_ger, your saying the iPad is better than iPad 2?

I havent played around with any of the samsung (except phones) but between the other that I have and the ipad the ipad wins hands down by a mile. It is faster easier to use and navigate, every thing just makes sense. A lot of the others I've played with make you feel like they don't want you to do what you want. Also if your going to be using it for business then I would seriously suggest the ipad better security and you won't have the problem of all the malware and viruses on the android.

S2- plus: cheaper than note, possibly better performed. Minus: not 4g ready

Think you will be happy you didnt purchase the nexus, all I felt like doing to it when I had a play was throwing it.
