What network are you with?

The Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4S are over 12 months old now. GS3 is out already and iPhone 5 is due October.

One S is good but I'd be looking at the One X (or One XL if on Telstra).

I hate Optus, but each to their own.

I'd go the One X on their $50 plan, you get $500 plus 1GB

It's a damn good phone

I just got an iPhone 4S from Telstra
Took it out of the box and tried it - the phone speaker doesn't work - have to use the loudspeaker
I took it back to Telstra - no new one - they will send it off to get fixed for me.
[-X [-X Screw you Telstra - give me a new one. You are not allowed to sell faulty phones and blame the supplier
Got a new one after Gen Y encountered  baby boomer

That the problem dealing with stores, if you get someone who hasn't been around a while then most of them don't know the policies.

Seeing as it's a DOA they have to replace on the spot.

Least an Apple store should be in Rundle Mall within the next 12-18 months.

Don't count on it with the Adelaide city council

Mr 66 throw into the ring the Galaxy Nexus. It's only $29 on the Vodaphone plan and it's much better IMO than the Galaxy II. Not saying you should swap providers, just giving you some idea of price plan.

I've got the Nexus and my wife has the Galaxy II. Better camera, bigger screen.

They will work that one out. The council says the building has to have an awning/verandah type thing attached to it like all others in Rindle Mall do, but Apple say none of their stores have one so that don't want this one to.

and also they didn't like the look of all the glass. How stupid does the the council need to be, take out the fact if you don't like apple and just think of how big the company is and when they say hey I want to put one of our stores in your complex do you really say no.

I'd support shutting Apple out of Rundle Mall - or anywhere for that matter! ;)

What I actually wanted to check was has anyone used a Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and how was it?
(I could use a reasonably compact dual SIM phone.)

That's when apple wanted a certain building and wanted to change the facade.

Now they've taken space in a building being built now.

I got an iPhone but also re-jigged my internet.
I'm getting my phone and i-net for $89 a month where it would
have cost $105 if they were separate.
I'm getting 50GB now for $20 less than my old plan, which was $40 for 1GB,
Sweet!

Should be on your Google account

You'll have to download again, but any payment made should be on the Google account.

You will lose data attached to apps (game progress, stored emails etc) unless you actively look for a solution to that for each app.

Photos and videos should be on the micro sd, but check before wiping/disposing the old phone.

you'd think they would of made a program by now like iTunes to sync new and old phones.
