Another silly question from Dog_ger.

I have found through experience, that when you have a problem, you should discuss it with your friends.

Is it only me or did technology have a hickup in the last couple of days.

1. My computer is slow. (Fastest Telstra Internet Plan)

2. My telstra phone wants me to set up my mail box again after using it for 3 years without a problem...?

3. SWTOR doesn't load as usual. :D

You are not alone.
Several of my friends have very crackly phone services, and slowed Internet, and Internode have just circularised clients in the Adelaide Hills about similar problems around here.
They attribute them to the heavy rain and water infiltration into the copper wires and exchanges.

So far I've only noticed occasional delay in web searches, and occasional transient drop outs in my VOIP service, which is only a minor nuisance.
But, I'm advised my area will have the NBN by next February, and they will connect my house free of charge despite the 50 metre run from the street.
So, I guess I'll check what the plans cost and whether it is worth connecting then.

1) Better get a new provider
2) Better get a new phone
3) Better get a new computer

It should all be sweet after tomorrow once the carbon tax kicks in.

I note the green Chartreuse I'm rather fond of was $79.99 a bottle in the local today compared with $74.99 last week, but they blamed that on rising state taxes when I asked what happened.
I left it - I'll get some further up the road where it is now $8 cheaper next time I'm up that way - they didn't have the other stuff I wanted anyway.
(I think management must have changed, or revised policy, a month ago - stock is more narrow in range and prices are up.)

2) My phone is ok

3) My computer is ok

I'm not wealthy like you Westsider. ;) :D

I also had problem with Telstra last week think it was Wednesday. I actually thought I had gone over my limit. Got up the next and was going to call but had gone back to normal speed. First time I've had a problem with Telstra Internet since switching from Adam Internet 18 months ago. I use to make a fortnightly call to Adam Internet about my speeds and with being on the phone for a minute they had magically fixed my speed to where it use to be
