Just a headsup. Until 5pm Monday the Good Guys have Acer Iconia Tabs at crazy prices. Ive just looked them up and theyre cheaper than whats on Ebay.

32gb A500 $299
32gb A501 $399

16gb even cheaper.

They use the latest Android version (3.2 Honeycomb) and will probably get an update to 4.0 next year.

Trying to think of a reason I could use a Tablet for but unfortunately cant think of one but its a great deal for anyone in the market for one.

LOL, and that's the only problem!

I thought tablets and top end mobile phones were not functional unless you to carry a handbag to transport them in.
They certainly don't fit in shirt pockets in summer when you are not wearing a jacket..

Aside from the kids using it for painting programs, games, web browsing etc, ours is the controller we use over Wi-Fi as a jukebox through the stereo in the lounge to play through the outside speakers.

I'm struggling for any more uses than that, at this stage.

Thats a lot for a tablet, I could get an pound for that...

There are apps which are "like" office... but really tablets are not a laptop replacement. They fill the void between mobiles and laptops.

That being said, you can buy bluetooth keyboards and I have one on my Acer Iconia A500 and have used it with word docs and excel spreadsheets.

You can still grey import it however.

Or just wait for the next version.
