Is happening to me about ten times a day now and really start to peeve me off, mostly on this site. I will try to go to another thread, page etc and then I've been logged off and have to log back in. Has happened a couple of times on Facebook as well.

Any ideas IT gurus?

The same thing has happened to me on facebook lately - I put it down to a Facebook problem.

Hasn't happened with this site though.

Check your cookie settings in your browser. Try a different browser too (especially if youre using IE).

Ok, I'm really not IT savvy. How do I check my cookies and and what am I checking them for...

They are usually in a jar on the kitchen bench. If cookies aren't there, you could have a cookie monster.

Or you could just download Google Chrome or Firefox.

I complained years ago about you on this site WCP, seems they finally listened to me...

In Firefox go to the top and click Tools then select Options, then Privacy, then tick Accept Cookies for sites.
I also then tick Clear History when Closing, and click its Settings button and set it to delete all history items including Cookies.
Then you click your way out using Save or if it doesn't offer Save use OK

In the Opera browser, you click the Opera button near the top.
Then select Settings, then Preferences, then Advanced then Cookies.
And again you leave using Save or OK depending which it offers

I don't know the sequences for other browsers but they will be similar.
