A mate has given me a external hard drive with some movies etc on their.
i wanna download them to my xbox to watch on tv...
is this possible?
if so whats the easiest way?

Have you tried plugging it straight into the xbox? Transfer onto a stick, then into xbox?

i just got the HD from mate now.
it comes with a use cord, so ill just plug that into xbox usb ports
didnt realise itd be so simple.

Don't think that'll work.
Portable HDD's are a good price now. Buy one for $100
