Got an email from ISP today introducing this 'exciting new TV entertainment experience'
fetchtvas per normal I can't find anything on pricing but it has me intrigued. Any net nerds know anything about it and will it be worthwhile???

We got the fetchtv box for a month's free trial - I think all Adam staff got one. It was OK but we decided not to go with it - I mean, we got along with five channels for years before digital TV came in, and we couldn't really justify paying another $20 a month or whatever. Also, our box gave Mr McSpaz a few electric shocks when he was setting it up, and apparently this was true of most people's. All in all it was a nice toy but nothing we couldn't live without.

Oh yeah - I don't know much about the thing myself, but if you've got any questions about it then fire away and I'll get Mr McSpaz to answer them when he gets home.

have a mate who works at adam and he has had it for a while. extra channels are generally just music and some of the doco channels but not a whole lot else. Does have setanta included as well as personal channels for barca, man u, man c and chelsea. Thinks there are problems with the connection occasionally but that is mainly due to it being a trial i think i was told.

I'm not interested.
