I prefer my HTC over the wifes iphone 4...

HTC Desire HD is bigger and heavier.... but means it has a bigger screen...
HTC Desire HD has an 8mege pixel camera.... iphone had a 5mp camera
The battery on the iphone seems to last longer
i prefer the calender and other similar options on the HTC...

Have got and love my HTC Legend. Not as "flashy" as an iPhone or DesireHD but, IMO, very user friendly and does what I need to easily.

if you currently want all the good apps, then Iphone is the go.
Have a HTC Desire myself and find it frustrating that alot of the good iphone apps/games aren't on android.
I'm assuming it will even itself out eventually?

Which apps are you after?

You'll most of them exist in some form already, probably under a different name. You just need to learn how to search better in the market.

Also use AppBrain (web and app).

my Desire is awesome, put new software on it recently too... try and do that with an iPhone!

Running Android 2.3.4 now, without the Telstra software... run's perfectly!

Android is the winner, for me. I spent a couple of weeks trialling an iphone, then a couple trialling an android samsung S GT-I9000. Kept the Samsung and am loving it. Not short on apps either, less than iphone I suppose, but haven't been caught short for something I want yet.

So why is there anti-virus software for sale on the iPhone market? There's also anti-virus software for Android.

Any electronic device which runs software can be targeted for a virus.

Just another iPhone iFan trying to scare people lol.

I never said iphones didn't have virus but also tell me how many of these came from the app store or happen on a iphone that isn't jailbroken. The problem with andriod apps is that it's open source. I don't really care if you have a andriod phone and I don't care if you like it more then a iphone. I just thought seeing there was a few people on here that said they had a htc I thought I would tell them about the risk some apps on the andriod market have. If you don't believe me have a read of these.

Why does Windows have more viruses than a Linux operating system? Linux is open sourced, so you should expect more viruses according to your logic.

All I'm saying is that both OS's can be at risk of virus and regardless of the OS you use you should check what you are installing.

Strictly true, but everyone gets on with each other in the open source community, so its more fun to stuff up Billy Gates and his mates.
