ok i hate computers, i have a pc hard drive gone using vista,
didnt get discs with pc so what do i do .
can i buy new hard drive and and vista and install it again
i hope this is clear what im trying to explain

Have you lost Vista as an operating system?
or has your hard drive sh*t it self and you need a new one.

You could buy a brand new hard drive, but that won't have any programs installed on it.
You would have to buy Vista - or you could get Windows 7 (choice is yours now)

hard rive has sh*t its self , i did try to connect an old hard drive wich has xp on it but i guess the drivers would be different

pc has 2 hard drives could i just switch over to one and get a copy of windows and install it or would both hard drives be crapped them selves

Have you got all of your files etc saved onto an external Hard drive?

If not, I wouldn't do anything until you at least get someone who can recover your files from the drive before you go through the next process

no got nothing saved , was going to got a portable h/d for xmas but just didnt save anything on there , not that it would matter i could get some things again

Are you 100% sure that the Hard Drive is no longer working or have you just lost the operating system?

If you have lost just the operating system, then find a friend that has Vista on a disk to re-install.

If it is the C: Hard Drive (the most likely place Vista was installed), then by removing that Hard drive and the re-install Vista onto the other Hard drive.

Only build a Box. then go to JB Hi-fi and get a cheap 32" lcd TV with HDMI inputs and usb.

Cordless keyboard and mouse.

If you already have lcd, with home theatre, well and good.

You really need a 1TB external hard drive for file backup in todays world my friend.

Once you tell the dealer this , he will give you far better prices for the above than JB Hi-Fi

Check the prices though, so you are getting the best possible for the cheapest price.

You want written quotes all the way.

Once set up, no looking back.
