In regards to trading in xobox games etc for new games.,
just curious at to ppls views on who does the best deals etc.

if i wanted to trade in some old xbox games for a new game like fifa 11 or something.
how many would i have to trade in to get a discount etc and what is the ususal discount?

No idea on that one there Johno I wish I could help you. I have only trader a game once and it was a straight swap. It depends on the game and how much they offer.

Depends on quality and resale value.

Prob 5-6 games.

i meant trading them to games stores like eb games and jbs etc?
i know they have special offers if u trade games u get discount. just wanted to know wether its worth trading games in or just buyin it for normal price.

It's worth it if you don't play the games anymore.

I always trade in my "series" games when the next version comes out... i.e. Madden 07 -> 08 -> 09 -> 10 -> 11.

If you got heaps of games you don't play you can either trade them for a new one. Or EBAY them.

games hold money depending on the system how hard the game is to find. You will be surprised on what a game is worth. I hold onto my games as a gamer. No matter how many times I have beaten it I still sit down and play them. I brought Mortal Kombat for the Mega Drive from cashies the other day and I paid five dollars for it. On the box it had its original price of $99 I was like damn.

I'm sorry Dog_ger, I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but you are wrong. Sit on them for an extended period of time and you won't get $1 for them.

Unless you are like Strawb and going to play them again down the track then it's best to get what you can for them.

To be honest I just don't like parting with them. Refer to consoles that you own thread for a good reason why. I will admit I am a collector more. (Wife says I am a horder)
