Question regarding Final Fantasy X

OK - I pulled out the PS2 today because I had a bit of unfinished business with FFX. If someone could help me I'd be very grateful.

How the f*** do I unlock that last monster in the Battle Arena? I mean the 'unknown' one in Original Species. I have beaten every single other monster at least once.
