Coin Acceptor for PC/USB (like that used in arcade machines)

Postby reppoh_eht » Sun Jun 27, 2010 10:56 pm

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of were I can get a coin acceptor that connects to a computer for use in a DIY Digital Jukebox?

I've googled it for the last hour and have seen a few, but they are very vague in their descriptions so I'm not sure if they are what I am after.

If anyone out there has had a go at building their own jukebox, arcade machine etc then please drop us a line...

Thanks

Kind of... Except I do not want a timing device. I want the device to connect to a PC so I can write a computer program to read the input.

Then when ever somebody drops in a correct coin, I can add 1 'credit' to my software...
