Question re burning DVD

Was wondering if people could give me their opinions on software to use for dvd burning. I've never really ventured into this side of things but have four DVD's I want to copy (for evaluation purposes of course) but have no idea really where to start. I can do the Audio CD burn thing through windows media player and think I used Nero years ago for audio but never other files. Any help from the SAFooty IT community is greatly appreciated

DVD Shrink was very good but is no longer updated and doesn't back up newer DVD's, but still a handy addition to the PC as it's free and works well for older stuff.

I use DVD Cloner V for newer stuff and it has yet to let me down, not too expensive to purchase and even cheaper if you use torrents but of course I wouldn't recommend that option.

DVD Flick is what I use to author my own DVD's, another free one if you are ever looking to turn your own movie files into a DVD.

All available via a quick google search.

Ive used Nero for quite a while, used to never like it many moons ago but have used nothing but for about the last 4 years.
DVD shrink even when I did use to compress files I never used for burning stuff. I'd shrink them with DVD shrink and then burn them with Nero.
I hardly burn stuff these days, put everything on portable hard drives, etc, I think if I do need to burn stuff I just use the software that came with my burner, Cyberlink I think.

CDBurnerXP is another good free option for burning. Despite the name it does DVD and Blu Ray as well.

Haven't ripped a DVD in ages so can't really help. Wasn't even aware that DVDShrink wasn't being developed anymore :o
