Just thought I would let people know this is arround.

Background - My son got his computer infected with the Win32.TDS.rtk virus/trogan?? -- End result the machine slowed down to a complete stop and now in the shop being repaired.

Came in via a movie download and yes -- he does run a full range of regularly updated (every boot up) virus protection and regularly runs various scans.

Looking on the net it does seem to be a bit nasty.

Others comment??

I'm not sure but I think my Comodo Antivirus recently reported this one coming in and asked me if it should delete the file that contained it.
If not it was a very similar name, and came with a free alleged anti-malware programme I was going to look at.
No antivirus programme will detect everything, so there is always some risk.
