Any hardware store or electronic store (Dick Smith, Tandy, Jaycar) should have these.

It sounds like all you need is just a fly lead with F-Connectors at each end, but make sure the cable is RG6 quad shield coax cable.

This will replace your existing fly lead from the Foxtel wallplate to your Foxtel set top box.

The ends look like this:

Will probably cost you around $15 for a premade 5m lead.

Here's the link for one at Jaycar http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... rm=KEYWORD

If instead you want to move the wallplate, then additionally all you need is a RG6 F-connector joiner. You unscrew the wallplate and then unscrew the foxtel lead in cable from the back, attach the joiner to the foxtel lead in cable, then screw the end of the new fly lead to the joiner and run the fly lead through the wall to the new wallplate location. Screw the other end of the fly lead to the back of wallplate and secure the wallplate and you're done.

The F-connectors can just be hand tightened.

Hope this makes sense!

our neighbours have probably 20m of extension cord on there shed roof.

the place we purchased had foxtel and it would appear the neighbours had an arrangement and ran an extension cord....

may look at getting foxtel later and when doing so will ask the neighbours if they are interested......
