So it's currently Perfect World for me...got chars on two servers in case one goes offline I can still play...best I got so far is a level 50 cleric...about to start building the crafting skills. Actually had someone ask me if I was from Adelaide a few weeks ago on one server cos the char had Norwood in the name...apparently she is and her mate is a Legs supporter

JAS, what is perfect world like? Compared to WOW for example.
Well I can't really compare it as I've never tried WoW but I use this site to look at different MMORPG's...the 'game list' page shows the games by type, price/free, user ratings etc and you can see reviews etc.
http://www.mmorpg.com/index.cfm?bhcp=1Started out about 3 years ago playing Guild wars...you buy the disc and the online play is free but that got swamped with east European players and all they did was try to scam people...real pain so tried a couple of others...Last Chaos (crap lots of kids trying to steal drops) and Rappelz (not bad but very laggy and crowded).
Then tried Perfect World which is my favourite so far...players of all ages and abilities and most are very helpful if you need a hand. They have a seperate sever for those into player versus player and on the other servers you can only kill other players if you both have that option 'on'. Like all these games there are ways to try and get you to pay money with an ingame shop where you can buy extra goodies like fancy armour etc and there is a fair bit of grinding to level up and get your crafting skills etc but again I think all games have that. Pretty standard choice of chars I think too...warriors, clerics, archers, wizzards etc and all look humanish and of course as usual the female chars look like Barbie with a boob job

but you can change a lot of features when you start.
http://pwi.perfectworld.com/infoWedgie is probably the best one to give a review of WoW to try and compare
