I'm not sure which software you are using, but the MS wizard in the OS [I use XP Pro] pops up all the images in the folder and asks you to select the ones you want to print by ticking their boxes with the mouse. At the next stage it asks how you want them printed - one to a page or 2 to a page etc.

They might be in a temporary folder. You probably just need to find whatever folders they are in and permanently delete them.

Do a search for the file name of one of them and see where they are being kept.

Use the windows "search" facility to search for *.jpg or *.jpeg and other photo type endings like .tiff etc and write down the locations revealed.
Then look in those folders using thumbnail view and delete those you need to delete.

If you double click a file in an email, it opens.. but it has to save itself first. It does this in a temporary folder. Therefore, this folder is full of images (etc) that you've received via email.

Rather than double clicking on it, save it somewhere. then open it from there and print it.
