I am thinking about upgrading my MP3 player. My current unit is a Sony MP3 walkman, like this one:

I'm mostly happy with it but am finding that with only 1 GB memory I'm having to cycle music in and out of the device on a regular basis. For this reason I want to upgrade to something with a bigger memory. I have a preference for flash memory over internal hard drives. This inherently limits the amount of free space on the device, but current models are appearing with 8 or 16 GB which should be more than sufficient.
Features I desire in an MP3 player include:
- Flash memory
- Ease of connection to computer. A builtin USB connector would be nice.
- Ease of transference of files. A drag-and-drop functionality would be good. Negative points for being required to use proprietary software to transfer music.
- Hardwired rechargeable battery. Mostly standard these days anyway.
- Builtin FM receiver. Very handy during footy season

- Readable display, regardless of ambient light conditions.
Features I do not care about:
- ability to play video
- inbuilt games
- ability to record radio or voice
If any of you can recommend an MP3 player which roughly conforms to the above, then I'm all ears. In fact if any of you has any comments at all, good or bad, about your own personal MP3 player then I'd love to hear them.
