hi i have been using limewire the last few months but now wont connect up will only get to one green bar. my partner is still able to log on on her laptop but i am unable. does anyone have any ideas

Yeah don't use it ! Always used to get spyware etc when I used it. Now just use Torrents.....

You could try bearshare.

Better than Limewire I think....

I had the same problem with limewire, where it just didn't connect.

I installed the latest version of java (www.java.com) and it started working again.

Also, read the help. It will tell you how to make sure your firewall is set correctly too.
